When was the Great British Menu final?
The finale of the fifteenth series of the show was held on Friday May 15th.
It saw the remaining chefs tasked with cooking a banquet, in celebration of nearly 200 years of British children’s literature, held in an Oxford University college.
They had over a hundred mouths to feed, including authors Jacqueline Wilson, Cressida Cowell and Anthony Horowitz.
Each day in the final week, the contestants cooked a different course.
Who were the Great British Menu judges and presenter?
Hosting the series was comedian and presenter Susan Calman who replaced Jennie Bond to join the show in 2020.
The expert judges were restaurateurs Oliver Peyton and Andi Oliver, as well as food critic Matthew Fort.
Oliver replaced Prue Leith as a judge after she joined the revamped version of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4 in 2017.
Both Peyton and Fort were part of the original line-up when the BBC show was first created back in 2006.
Each week they were joined by a guest judge, to help them select the best dishes.
