Lil Wayne’s daughter, 21, models for Rihanna’s lingerie line- and insists famous dad ‘doesn’t mind’
LIL Wayne’s 21-year-old daughter, Reginae Carter,
is the latest celeb to join Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty line as a lingerie ambassador.
Opening up about her new gig, she insisted her famous father “doesn’t mind” her showing off her curves in barely-there pieces during sexy photoshoots.
From navy blue bodysuits and lacy bra-and-panty sets to sweet purple babydolls and mermaid-style boyshorts, Reginae’s been showing off the latest Savage X Fenty lingerie on her Instagram for a few months.
She captioned one shot: “Everyone said I could be Anything... So I became a Savage.”
While she claimed to her rapper father has no issue with her new lingerie modeling job, Reginae said the same isn’t true when it comes to her mom, Antonia “Toya” Johnson.
The T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle star revealed: “When I first posted my mom was like, ‘Okay, don’t get too lively with the lingerie.
“My daddy never really mentioned it. I don’t know what he thinks about it, but my mom is like, ‘Right now, don’t take no more clothes off.’
Reginae added: “When I first started out I wasn’t really the type to show thongs [and be] sexy and stuff.
“When I was picking out my options, I was trying to get PJs — but Rihanna’s team was like, ‘No, send her sexy.’”
As a superfan, even “crying” when she saw her perform, Reginae took no issue with the mogul’s suggestion that she try modeling sexier options.
The 21-year-old reality star joined the Savage X Fenty family in January with the company’s Valentine’s Day capsule collection.
She captioned her first photo: “This just the intro, let me not get ahead of myself #savagexambassador.”
Normani, Dreezy and Tinashe are all also ambassadors for the line, with the Fifth Harmony alum the first to join the crew back in November.
Now, to join her lineup of lingerie models, and she’s looking to fans to find the next campaign star.
