And now the Firework songstress shared a clip of her scan on Instagram and penned: "When your unborn daughter gives you a middle finger from the womb you know you’re in for it #happymothersdaytome."
Earlier in the day, Katy shared an Instagram Story of Orlando holding a giant bunch of flowers, which he had picked for her on the holiday.
Asking her other half where he got the blooms, she asked: "Where did you get those? From the garden? And you arranged them for me?"
He answered: "I've been picking them all morning.Pretty right? I wasn't quite finished but you caught me, so..."
Last month, - and insisted that's when she knew her daughter would be just like her.
Katy - along with her fellow American Idol judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie - appeared on an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, and Katy couldn't stop raving about her pregnancy.
As they all tuned in from their homes, Katy said: "I went to a doctor's appointment yesterday and I had an ultrasound and she was moving around.
"I have a video of her giving me the middle finger and I was like, 'This is my child.'"
The singer - who was wearing an onesie with her fiance's face printed all over it at the time - also spilled on how she felt when she was told she was having a girl.
She playfully told viewers: "I was wondering who was going to inherit all my absurd costumes!"
The California Girl singer also revealed Orlando was currently asleep in the next room while she tuned in with her fellow judges, despite reports of the couple being on the rocks.
A source close to the two revealed that Katy's relationship with Orlando "changed since she got pregnant."
The insider also shared: "Orlando and her are having some ups and downs right now.
"Katy is dealing with the nerves of being a first-time parent, and Orlando is stressing about having a baby in their lives at this time."
Still sources say Katy is thrilled to be pregnant: "She's always wanted to be a mom."
But that's not the only thing weighing on Katy's mind.

The mom-to-be is also worried about giving birth during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to DailyMail.com, a source said: "They both try to exercise and eat well so they can stay healthy.
Katy really hopes everything has calmed down with the virus by the time the baby will be born this summer. She tries not to stress about the birth, but she definitely thinks about it a lot."
