Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson posts gushing tribute to ‘true love’ Zara McDermott on first anniversary
MADE In Chelsea's Sam Thompson has shared a heartwarming tribute to his "true love" Zara McDermott.
Sam, 28, posted the gushing message to his Love Island girlfriend on their one year anniversary.
He shared the message of them on Instagram with a photo of them having a picnic in their backyard on the sunny Saturday in London.
Sam showed off his abs as he went topless only wearing black shorts as he kissed Zara's head who was leaning on him in a red and white summer dress.
He wrote: "1 year ago today, the most beautiful, kind and caring girl came into my life.
"I never thought I’d be lucky enough to know what true love was, and every day I need to pinch myself to check this is real. I don’t say it enough.
"I love you so much. Here’s to many more years together ❤️❤️❤️❤️".
Zara, 23, also shared her own lovely message to her boyfriend of one year with a pic in the same spot but her holding his face while giving him a smooch on the cheek as Sam enjoyed their picnic cheese platter.
She wrote: "when you just wanna kiss his face but he just wants to eat 😂❤️ Sam is a mood 😂 happy anniversary darling @samthompsonuk 💕💕💕 I love you forever 💜 let’s go stuff our faces and watch the last kingdom in bed together 💃🏼💁🏼♀️"
The couple shared what their big day entailed with their followers and which, started with Zara cleaning Sam's face with an electric blackhead remover as he lay in bed.
"This is the most degrading thing I've done," he said to the camera.
Later in the morning the pair made an extravagant breakfast in their sleek white kitchen as Sam asked Zara how many more years they would be together.
She replied: "Infinity."
But it wasn't all romance as Sam ducked away to play video games and even though he promised he would only play one, Zara claimed he had already played two.

"Should I switch it off," he asked her sheepishly.
Sam, 28, first appeared as a cast member on Made In Chelsea 2013 during the sixth season of the show.
After a brief hiatus, he returned last season with, Zara.
There is sure to be some drama between him and ex BFF Jamie after it was revealed that Jamie is now dating his ex, Sophie Habboo.
He has made appearances on shows such Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Big Brother.
