Sources say Joe is now holding out for a deal which will see him work more on screen with his wife, who began stepping in for him last week as he recovers from a wrist operation.

The pair - who have become cult-favourites with kids and adults alike - love working with each other.

And the couple are expected to be inundated with offers from producers to become permanent fixtures on the telly.

A TV source told Sun Online: “Joe and Rosie are the hottest couple of TV at the moment and have massive appeal. They have loved working together and would really enjoy more opportunities.

“For producers they tick so many boxes - they look great, have brilliant screen chemistry and cover really important issues like healthy eating and keeping fit. And they are as popular with parents as they are children.

“The idea that Joe and Rosie will simply disappear from the telly when lockdown ends isn’t going to happen. There’s so much noise around the pair and there will be loads of opportunities coming their way.

“For Joe the idea of doing shows with his wife and talking about the issues he is passionate about are a lot more appealing than being on Strictly or I’m A Celeb. So he is keeping his options open.”
