Taking to Twitter, the mother-of-four wrote: "Thinking of my friend and her family today.
"Just witnessed how even more sad and harder a funeral is under restrictions. Just wanted to give hugs and I couldn’t.
"Thinking and praying for you all. X".
Due to social-distancing measures in place as part of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, funerals are only allowed to be attended by immediate family members - and some councils have shortened the length of a service to just 20 minutes.
Although this may vary from person to person, immediate family members generally refers to a parent, son or daughter, partner or spouse.
According to Public Health England: "Mourners should avoid any direct face to face or physical contact, for example hugging each other unless they are part of the same household."
Government guidelines also prevent friends and family members from separate households visiting grieving loved ones in person for support.
Coleen is currently isolating with her husband Wayne and their four sons, 10-year-old Kai, six-year-old Klay, four-year-old Kit, and Cass, two.
Earlier this week, The Sun's Bizarre column revealed that Rebekah Vardy had demanded a public apology from her fellow WAG after she was accused of selling stories about her last year.
Seven months on from the start of the Wagatha Christie scandal, their legal fees have spiralled into six figures and the two women are still at loggerheads.
An insider told us: "Becky is adamant she’s done nothing wrong and while she wants an end to this ongoing legal battle, she also wants to be vindicated.

"Becky has told her team she wants a public apology. She was really hurt that Coleen went straight on social media to lay blame at her door, rather than speaking to her privately.
"She has maintained her innocence throughout and doesn’t want this to be brushed under the carpet without Coleen publicly apologising to her for the fallout which followed, including a huge amount of abuse on social media."
The pair used to be good pals but their relationship hit the rocks after Coleen’s shocking claim last October that Rebekah’s Instagram account had been the only one to view fake stories, which were later leaked to the press.
