Channing Tatum ‘keeps telling friends he wants to be single’ despite reunion with ex Jessie J
Channing Tatum and Jessie J are giving fans hope they have reconciled, with the actor now hunkered down at the singer's house.
But The Sun can reveal the , who a month ago, are not serious - as keeps pumping the brakes and telling pals he wants to be single.
A source close to the ripped star said: "Channing has been hanging out with again, and she gave him a birthday present after he celebrated his 40th - but it's not serious.
"He keeps saying he wants to be single and work on himself before committing to someone again, but he really just wants to go out and have fun.
"Channing can't seem to make up his mind about Jessie, and he's also getting plenty of attention elsewhere with women lining up to date him."
A barefoot Channing made a statement on Sunday and showed he really is wearing the pants, as he was pictured taking out the trash at Jessie's crib in a pair of shiny gold lamé cutoffs.
The gym-honed star, who is usually spotted in jeans or sweats, looked as though he'd been rummaging through Jessie's stage wardrobe as he stepped out in the shocking bottoms.
He proved he's still pulling his weight in their "situationship" as he carried two large white trash bags outside.
It comes after Jessie was also spotted last Wednesday on the taking a scenic ride along Mulholland Drive.
A source close to the 32-year-old singer revealed: "Jessie has told friends they are not back together, but it changes all the time, they can't seem to quit each other.
"Jessie is ready to meet a guy she can really build a foundation with, she wants stability ... but at the moment, that is definitely not Channing."
The Sun previously revealed has an active profile on celebrity dating app Raya, giving him easy access to plenty of bachelorettes stuck at home during the pandemic.
His bio on the members-only site features the joking message: "And yes, I used to be a stripper," along with a casual shrug emoji, while his theme song is Brown Sugar by D'Angelo.
The star split from his wife of almost nine years, , in April 2018 and they share custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Everly.
Channing and Jessie went public in October of the same year - the month Jenna filed for divorce.
But the Bang Bang songstress showed she still has a lot of respect for her ex by uploading a in celebration of his birthday on April 26.
Alongside a series of hot photographs of the former stripper, she gushed on Instagram: "Happy 40th Birthday to this special man right here.
"You are truly one of a kind. I am so grateful you were born, and even more grateful we met."
Channing failed to wish Jessie a happy birthday publicly back in March, after which she got emotional with fans in an Instagram Story post.
She said: "I just wrote the longest list of things I want in life. In love, in career, in friendships, in a manager.
"Sitting here crying happy tears. It's all possible. I just have to believe it and go get it."
Her list of attainable goals included: "I want to cook with my boyfriend," "I want to have a baby" and "I want friendships I don't manage."

Meanwhile, Channing's ex Jenna has moved on.
She gave , son Callum, with fiancé Steve Kazee in March this year.
