Perrie Edwards says she’s never been happier amid Gigi Hadid and Zayn’s baby news
PERRIE Edwards has never been happier while self-isolating with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Little Mix singer, 26, said she's "having the time of her life" in an interview given on the same day reports emerged that her ex Zayn Malik is having a baby with Gigi Hadid.
"I've never spent so much time with my boyfriend, I've never spent so much time in my house.
"Like, I've never had just so much time on my hands to do stuff that I've always wanted to do, so it has been nice."
The Geordie beauty began dating Liverpool footballer Alex in 2016 - a year after Zayn dumped her by text.
The happy couple are currently in coronavirus lockdown at their stunning pad, with Alex claiming she's the "perfect wifey" in quarantine.
Her interview comes amid reports that model Gigi, 25, is around 20 weeks pregnant with former One Direction star Zayn's child, meaning she would be due to give birth in September.
The pair have been isolating together at Gigi's family's Pennsylvania farm alongside her 23-year-old model sister Bella in recent weeks.
Fans now think Gigi's 25th birthday party was a gender reveal for their child, after spotting clues like pink and blue balloon strings and telling gift bags.
Perrie began dating Zayn back in May 2012, back when he was still in 1D. The couple got engaged in August 2013 but broke up in August 2015.
At the time their relationship was plagued with rumours of him cheating on the Black Magic singer.
Perrie, who claimed that Zayn ended their engagement via text, talked about being homeless after they split up.
The singer, who'd been living with Zayn when they split, said in Little Mix's book Our World: "After I split with my partner, out of the blue, I had nowhere to go, which was incredibly stressful.
"For a while I had no idea what to do. I thought about renting but I've got dogs and cats, so that was no good. At the time we were promoting Black Magic, and while I was in America, things really hit me and I panicked."
She added: "I realised I was homeless. I was crying every day, dreading coming back."
Meanwhile, back in July 2017, Perrie was accused of changing Little Mix lyrics on stage to insult Gigi.
