Strictly Come Dancing boss confirms they might ditch studio audience amid coronavirus crisis
STRICTLY Come Dancing could be saying farewell to a live studio audience due to coronavirus safety restrictions.
The show-stopping programme may be taking the drastic action as the pandemic continues to cause TV chaos.

The BBC is debating how to move forward with the dancing show while still taking into account social distancing guidelines set out over coronavirus.
BBC director of content Charlotte Moore explained in a virtual meeting how they could tackle the restrictions.
She said: "The other thing I would say is people think if it is a shiny floor it needs an audience and I don't think that's necessarily true."
She explained: "When you look at something like Drag Race which is a big shiny floor talent competition with all sorts of catwalks, singing, dancing, impressions – it never has an audience."
The TV expert continued: "The audience is the four judges and I don't think it suffers from that at all. I think it is a brilliant show!"
And while the team are investigating how to get the much-loved show on the air, there were most certainly going to be differences to the upcoming 2020 show which already has names in the pipeline.
The director added: "I think inevitably things are going to change."
Fans can rest easy that the show will be secure a glittering all-star line-up.
The director explained that change was inevitable and that could affect the amount of people in the studio with the most logical answer being to get rid of the studio audience.

Dance star Anton Du Beke promised the BBC competition will come back for another series lead by head judge Shirley Ballas.
The 53-year-old professional dancer revealed on The Steph Show that they are continuing to plan the new series.
He said: "They're carrying on with it for now, the whole pre production will be going on as normal."
The 18th series is set to return this autumn with a whole new batch of celebrity contestants thought to include big names such as Alan Carr and Stacey Solomon.
