Jesy Nelson says she’s ‘so happy’ and ‘enjoying simple things’ in the wake of Chris Hughes split

LITTLE Mix star Jesy Nelson told fans she was "so happy" in an uplifting Instagram post as she explained she was loving the ";simple things".

The 28-year-old singer headed to the woods with pal Charlotte Driver, who she is spending her time with after splitting from boyfriend Chris Hughes.

She wrote: "We got some fresh air today and it made us feel so happy🥰 we danced in the woods and played our favourite songs! Sometimes it’s the simple things that make your heart happy ❤️."

Jesy then posted a video of her and Charlotte miming to 50 Cent's Best Friend on a deserted footpath.

The music megastar and former Love Island star Chris, 27, called it quits earlier this month after dating for a little over a year.

They ended their relationship over the phone - leaving the singer to entertain herself in her beautiful home, which boasts a huge kitchen and sleek inset log fire.
