Lisa Armstrong likes tweet about being ‘cheated on’ after settling £31m divorce from Ant McPartlin
LISA Armstrong has liked a tweet about being "cheated on" after settling her £31million divorce with former husband Ant McPartlin.
The make-up artist, 43, formally ended her 12-year marriage to the television presenter earlier this month.
Following the news, Lisa was spotted liking a tweet from a fan supporting her.
It read: "Good luck for your future I split with my man 2 years ago after 19 years as he had an affair. I was broken hearted and still am but I have to keep smiling. So looking at you smiling makes me smile and I then know I have to carry on.x."
Another one said: "You look fab. I have been amazed by your strength & positivity #GirlPower #YoureInspiring #HugsAndKisses."
Ant and Lisa, who married in 2006, split in January 2018, five months after he left rehab.
The Britain’s Got Talent host, 44, is now free to marry his “rock” and former PA Anne-Marie Corbett, also 44, following the divorce settlement.
A source said: “It’s been an extremely difficult road with a lot of heartache and unpleasantness, but it’s finally done. It’s over.
“Ant’s been desperate to start the next chapter of his life and at least now he and Anne-Marie can plan for the future. It won’t be long before they are married.”
ITV star Ant, who has faced painkiller addiction and booze battles, and Lisa had been at loggerheads since he announced their split.
