BLOOD season two premiered on Channel 5 on April 27 and immediately had viewers hooked with its gripping storyline.

Where is Blood season 2 filmed?
Kilcock
Crime drama Blood is set in a small fictional Irish town in County Westmeath, Ireland.
However, Kilcock, which is in the north of County Kildare and located on the border with County Meath, serves as the fictional town where the show is situated.
With a population of just 6,000, Kilcock features beautiful country scenes and 19th Century houses.
The Grand Canal in the town is popular with residents and visitors alike.
Kilcock is 22 miles from Dublin and on the Royal Canal.
The creator of the show Sophie Pretzel told : "You’re very close to Dublin.
"But the landscape is so different.
"The Midlands has this frontier town element.”

Larchill Arcadian Gardens
A lot of drama takes place at the Hagans' family home as the story is told from Cat's point of view.
Larchill Arcadian Gardens serves as the location for the house.
It is located at Phepostown in County Meath.
The Garden was created between 1740 and 1780.
Series producer Jonathan Fisher told the Irish Sun: "The house we filmed the family scenes is the Larchill Arcadia Garden, which is in Meath.
"We had our production office at Weston Airport and we shot in a few houses and locations around there."

Some filming also took place on the land of Weston Airport.
Cat's friend, Barry's house was "tucked around the back by perfect coincidence," according to the producer.
The land boasts several miles of rich greenery which has been featured on the show.

Kilteel Inn
There are scenes filmed in a pub where viewers have seen Cat's mum work.
The pub is the Kilteel Inn in County Kildare, where her brother, Diarmuid also played a gig with his band.
A 100-year-old building, Kilteel Inn is a traditional pub and has been said to have a haunted room.
Jonathan Fisher also revealed how the change of scenery from other widely used locations in Ireland was a "refreshing" change as residents of lesser-used areas were more welcoming.

What time is Blood series two on Channel 5 tonight?
The first episode in the new series of Blood aired on Monday April 27, 2020.
It will be shown on Channel 5 at 9pm, tonight and throughout the week.
New episodes will be released daily, with the last being on Friday, May 1, 2020.
However, it has been revealed that the finale will be two episodes combined, making it feature-length.
