EastEnders: Rainie Cross and Stuart’s wedding drama explained as Max refuses to sign the divorce papers

What do we know about Stuart’s violent clash with Max in EastEnders?

New teaser images for the BBC One soap show Stuart grabbing Max by the scruff of his neck outside the Queen Vic pub in upcoming scenes.

The hardman then shouts at his love rival and demands he divorce Rainie, so that he can tie the knot with her instead. 

EastEnders has teased that the fight is caused when Max refuses to end his marriage with Rainie and sign the divorce papers.

But with exact plot details being kept under wraps, EastEnders fans will have to tune in to find out more.

What do we know about Stuart and Rainie’s engagement in EastEnders?

Stuart pulled out all the stops for his proposal on last night’s episode of EastEnders after he was rejected by Rainie earlier this year. 

Callum inspired his brother by hinting that Rainie would be won over by a proposal out of the ordinary. 

But Rainie was horrified when Stuart leapt out of a coffin in full vampire costume and popped the big question. 

But she eventually said yes to his bizarre proposal after Stuart made clear how much he loved her. 

Will Stuart and Rainie get their wedding in EastEnders?

Viewers fell in love with Stuart’s eccentric proposal and have flocked to Twitter to express their excitement for the upcoming wedding. 

One fan tweeted: "Rainie and Stuart are gonna have such a crackhead wedding i’m so excited skjsjshsh #EastEnders."

Another tweeted: "I’m honestly so excited for Stuart and Rainie’s wedding, it’s gonna be the definition of chaotic, I really hope we get a Cora return as well #EastEnders."

But Rainie and Stuart’s engagement bliss was short-lived when Callum pointed out that she was still married to her ex Max.
