Sarah Harding’s ex-boyfriend reveals she once flew into a rage after he followed her Girls Aloud bandmates on Twitter

SEVEN years after their split, it looked like Girls Aloud were finally ready to patch things up.

But it appears Sarah Harding might be more reluctant than her bandmates to let go of the past.

The star’s ex-boyfriend Chad Johnson, whom Sarah met during her triumphant stint on Celebrity Big Brother, has revealed the extent of her feud with Cheryl Tweedy, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, while opening up for the first time about their rollercoaster romance.

The Bachelor star said: “I know she wasn’t very happy with the other girls. I followed some of the others on Twitter and she blew up at one point.”

Chad claimed Sarah, who was closest to Nadine Coyle in Girls Aloud, was filled with regret about her time in the group.

He said: “It seemed she felt she’d partied so much she’d missed out on a lot of being in the moment.”

He added: “She would make me watch the full videos. She would pull one up on YouTube and I’d be like, ‘Can we just skim through this?’ She’d be like, ‘No’. We’d have to watch the whole thing, even the commentary. I’d never heard of any of the songs — nobody in America had ever heard of them. I had no clue who they were. I think she really missed that time.”

Sarah stepped away from the spotlight after her whirlwind romance with Chad came to a bitter end in November 2017.

He said: “I don’t know where she’s been the last few years. I don’t think anybody’s really heard from her. I think she’d taken a lot of bad direction from agents and stuff.”

Chad admitted he felt guilt over the split, finding Sarah “a lot to handle”.

He said: “We hung out at her house for a week after Celebrity Big Brother, locked away in the middle of nowhere in England. It was not very good. My ex posted a video of me cooking with her on YouTube and Sarah lost it. After that it was pretty much downhill. I think it kind of f***ed her up after our relationship — I just bailed.”

I told last month how Nadine and Kimberley buried the hatchet in a chance meeting in London, raising hopes of a reunion.

They should start laying the groundwork with Sarah now.

Kim's skimpy dip

KIM Kardashian knows how to perk up her 166million Instagram followers – by posting this snap to show off her new Skims shapewear range.

She is clearly feeling positive – even ending her feud with Beyonce.

That began in 2014 when Bey and husband Jay-Z rejected an invitation to Kim’s wedding to Kanye West, despite Jay and Kanye being close pals previously. It’s believed to be because Beyonce didn’t like Kim . . . though apparently that is now water under the bridge.

When Bey performed on a US Disney family singalong on Thursday night, Kim tweeted: “Beyonce sounds so beautiful.”

Sam said: “We’re reclaiming sports for ourselves because sports was f***ing really s**t in school for me.

“I got bullied so bad in the changing rooms. I hated rugby and just wanted to do sports with the girls.

“So being able to get all my friends together and get sporty was such a beautiful time.”

Speaking on Instagram Live, Sam added: “A lot of love went into making this song and this video.

“I think that’s why it’s OK to release it right now. Hopefully it’ll make you smile.”

WHILE her husband Justin Bieber is helping raise funds for good causes in lockdown, Hailey is raising spirits.

Funds raised by the #AllInChallenge will go to charities feeding the hungry.

Eleven aiming for the Top Ten

THE lockdown has delayed the new series of Stranger Things but it might just boost Millie Bobby Brown’s music career.

I told last year how Millie hoped to launch herself as a singer next.

And with her acting jobs currently on hold, she has found time to write and record songs with her brother Charlie at their US home in Georgia.

The place boasts a full recording studio and Millie said: “Me and my brother are always in the studio recording stuff and writing stuff.” Millie, who plays Eleven in the Netflix sci-fi hit, now has a pop-star smile too, showing off her gleaming white teeth in an interview on American telly.

And she also has a new love, revealing: “I got a dog and her name is Winnie.

“She is an adorable thing, a four-month-old poodle. Last night was her first sleeping in bed with me, so she was very happy.

“She came to the Stranger Things read-through and was spoiled.”

Stones have got home gig covered

SOME of the world’s leading artists are planning emotionally charged performances to celebrate health workers during the current crisis.

The Rolling Stones on Friday night joined the line-up for the Together At Home show, curated by Lady Gaga, which takes place today in the US and will be broadcast tomorrow from 7.15pm on BBC1.

Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney are among more than 100 acts taking part in the event, with several planning to perform cover verions of hit songs to lift people’s spirits.

I can reveal Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes will duet on a version of Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World, while Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas are planning to give their own rendition of Bobby Hebb’s Sunny.

Stevie Wonder will pay tribute to the late Bill Withers by singing Lean On Me as part of a medley while Gaga is set to cover Nat King Cole’s Smile.

And the UK broadcast, hosted by Clara Amfo, Claudia Winkleman and Dermot O’Leary, will feature additional performances from Little Mix and Tom Jones. It’s not to be missed.

First review: Bob is lockdown gold

By Simon Cosyns

YOU wait eight years for a new original Bob Dylan song then two come along at once.

Following the 17-minute epic Murder Most Foul, he has released the more modest I Contain Multitudes, clocking in at a mere 4mins 37secs.

The Sun's Simon Cosyns believe Bob Dylan's next album will be 'extraordinary' if these tracks are anything to go by

For dedicated Dylan followers like me, that still represents lockdown gold.

While the previous effort centred on JFK’s assassination, this is a more personal affair, the title drawn from a Walt Whitman poem, Song Of Myself, and alluding to enigmatic Dylan’s complex personality.

Again he peppers his lyrics with cultural references, most notably a line that brings together a teenage diarist and Holocaust victim, a fictional action hero and a rock ’n’ roll institution.

“I’m just like Anne Frank, like Indiana Jones/And them British bad boys The Rolling Stones,” intones the multi-dimensional singer in his weathered growl over sedate acoustic guitar.

Dylan’s long been friends with the Stones, particularly Ronnie Wood, and they’ve covered his immortal Like A Rolling Stone in concert. And seeing that Murder Most Foul included shoutouts to The Beatles and The Who, he probably didn’t want to leave out our other great Sixties chart sensations.

Elsewhere, David Bowie’s All The Young Dudes gets a look-in, maybe just because it rhymes with multitudes.

He mentions the old Sun Records staple Red Cadillac & A Black Moustache which he performed on his Eighties tours with Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers.

Then there are mentions of historical figures and their works . . .  Edgar Allan Poe’s Tell-Tale Heart, William Blake’s Songs Of Experience (also the name of a U2 album), Beethoven’s sonatas and Chopin’s preludes (which, you guessed it, also rhymes with multitudes).

And Dylan drops in autobiographical statements that chime with the song title . . .
“I paint landscapes and I paint nudes,” (a nod to his growing reputation as a visual artist) and: “I’m a man of contradictions, I’m a man of many moods.”
At this rate, we’ll have an album’s worth of material  . . .  a quite extraordinary album at that.

Rating: 4 and half stars.
