George and Amal Clooney spend £90,000k on twins’ playhouse — complete with zip wire and life-sized toy giraffe
GEORGE and Amal Clooney are spending £90,000 on a playhouse for their twins — complete with zip wire and life-sized toy giraffe.
The lavish, two-storey den will be a mini version of the couple’s main home.
Two-year-olds Alexander and Ella will play in a working kitchen with running water and ride on the giraffe, Amal’s favourite animal.
Grown-ups will party at a pool pad mimicking a Prohibition-era bar, and at a basement dancefloor.
The £850,000 projects at the Clooneys’ California mansion also includes digs for the live-in help.

The playhouse will be designed by Barbara Butler. Michael S Smith — who redesigned Barack Obama’s White House office in 2010 — is helping with interiors.
A source said: “It is extravagant but George and Amal want the best.
“They are also adamant the kids are appreciative and don’t take anything for granted.”
