Jacqueline Jossa reveals she’s been approached to join Towie with husband Dan Osborne – and wants to do it
JACQUELINE Jossa might be joining Towie with husband Dan Osborne.
The 27-year-old revealed bosses had approached her to appear in the ITV2 series and admitted she'd be up for joining the cast.
Jacqueline made the revelation while chatting to Towie star Bobby Norris on Instagram.
The 27-year-old teased: "I could be on Towie soon - me and Dan are gonna come back."
She went on: "They did actually ask us a while ago, but I was on EastEnders so I couldn't but I was like 'Oh my God, imagine me on Towie!'"
The I'm A Celebrity champ came over all coy when Bobby tried to get her to confirm the news, however.
She replied, laughing: "I don't know, I don't know."
The EastEnders actress' claims come five years after Dan was fired from Towie after the leak of a tape in which he threatened to 'stab' his ex Megan Tomlin, the mother of his six-year-old son Teddy.
Sources claimed that while Dan's return to the reality show would help repair his image, Jacqueline might struggle with the pressure.
An insider told new! magazine: "Dan was a different person back then and he didn't leave the show on good terms. If he did return he could show he has changed his ways."
They added: "Jacqueline is an actress, so it would be a bit of a step back to do a reality show like this. It isn't like the jungle.
"Your life is played out on camera and she might find it hard to deal with, whereas Dan is used to it."
Dan joined Towie in 2013 and dated Jasmin Walia and Lucy Mecklenburgh on the show.
He was booted off the show in 2015 after being recorded hurling insults at Megan, then 23.
Dan, then 24, told Megan he would stab her if she had sex with another man and called her a "s**g".
He is currently self-isolating with Jacqueline and their daughters, Ella, five, and 22-month-old Mia.
The reality star was recently forced to shut down rumours that they'd split, after fans spotted that he wasn't wearing his wedding ring in a gym selfie.
