Alongside a photo of Boris shared to Piers Morgan’s profile, Kate wrote: “Get well Boris x.”

Her message comes hours after the PM was rushed into intensive care at London’s St Thomas’ hospital as his coronavirus symptoms left him struggling to breathe.

He is not yet on a ventilator and is still conscious – but doctors were preparing a unit to be ready by his bedside should his condition worsen.

Meanwhile, Kate’s husband Derek was also taken to hospital last week, where he tested positive for Covid-19, and still remains in intensive care.

The GMB host is “sick with worry” about former Labour adviser Derek, 52, who is believed to be seriously ill.

A source revealed: “This is a desperate situation for Kate who is sick with worry about Derek’s health.

“He is intensive care battling coronavirus and for obvious reasons she is beside herself.

“Kate has symptoms herself too but they are mild so she is self-isolating at home with the kids.

“She is obviously off TV too. Everyone at GMB is so worried for her.”

Kate has been forced off ITV show GMB because she has symptoms too and is now self-isolating with her children.

She previously opened up on her fears surrounding the deadly bug, saying: “I don’t want to tempt fate, but so far, I’m good. It’s loved ones that you can’t help but worry for.

“My dad is nearly 85 and my mum is in her late 70s.
