THE heat is on for Annalise Keating and her team of ambitious but clumsy student lawyers as their sketchy past looks to catch up with them in the series finale of How To Get Away With Murder.
The series has won Viola Davis several awards for her portrayal of Annalise, while several actors have achieved critical praise for their work on the Shonda Rhimes-produced drama.

Viola Davis as Annalise Keating
Viola Davis, 54, has led the show for six seasons, and won several awards as Middleton University law professor, Annalise Keating, including becoming the first black woman to win a prime time Emmy for best lead actress.
Viola is one of the biggest names in Hollywood and was named as one of Time magazine's most influential people in the world in 2012 and 2017.
For her role in Fences, Viola won an Oscar for best supporting actress.
Her first major TV role was as Nurse Lynnette Peeler in City Of Angels.
Billy Brown as Nate Lahey
Billy Brown has starred as Nate Lahey since the first episode of the mystery drama.
Nate has been Annalise's on-again, off-again love interest and more recently, friend, since the series began in 2014.
Billy, 49, has also starred in other television series' such as Lights Out, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, and Hostages.
Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt
For her role as Michaela, Aja Naomi King has received praise from critics who have applauded her character development.
Perhaps the most determined of Annalise's students, Michaela has gone from being a selfish know-it-all to a caring team player.

Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh
Jack first appeared on TV with his role in Sex and The City spinoff, The Carrie Diaries.
He has played Connor Walsh, one of Annalise's students since the first season of the drama.
Fans have seen Connor go from reckless and promiscuous sex addict to finding the love of his life in Oliver Hampton.
Jack, 31, has also played Frank Stringfellow in historical drama, Mercy Street.
Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone
Matt, 33, has appeared in dramas such as Orange Is The New Black and Gossip Girl.
Asher was first introduced in season one and became one of Annalise's students.
Perhaps the clumsiest of the students, Asher often feels like an outsider but has proven to be loyal for the gang when they need him.
Matt considers himself a feminist and openly speaks about a range of issues affecting society.
Conrad Ricamora as Oliver Hampton
Conrad is an award winning theatre performer and singer.
In the series, he plays Oliver Hampton, who is roped into the world of lies, murder and deceit by way of his relationship and subsequent marriage to Connor Walsh.
The 41-year-old has starred in theatre dramas such as The King And I and Here Lies Love.
Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom
Liza, 42, has been praised for her role as Bonnie Winterbottom, Annalise's right-hand woman.

Charlie Weber as Frank Delfino

Other stars in the final instalment of the series include Amirah Vann as Tegan Price, a powerful attorney who initially bumps heads with Annalise but later becomes an ally.
Marsha Stephanie Blake also stars alongside William R. Moses as Special Agent Lanford.
Noticeably absent is Karla Souza, who had played Laurel Castillo since the first episode of the drama.
She does, however make a small guest appearance.
