THE CHASE’S Mark Labbett raised eyebrows after snapping at a contestant for low scores on the family spin-off version of the hit game show.
Mark, also known as The Beast, couldn’t resist chiding them for making poor decisions and not winning as much money as they could have.
Even host Bradley Walsh was taken aback when Mark snapped at one member of the family on the spin-off version of The Chase.
Taking part were a group from Leyland, which included dad Andrew, daughters Emily and Hollie and their aunt.
Neither Emily and Hollie did very well, with both getting low scores on their cash builder. Rather than going for a feasible option, they both went large and got chased off the board.
It came down to their aunt who managed to win back the money she had earned, and go through to the next round.
Following his own cash builder, Andrew admitted that his £2,000 win was "rubbish".
Mark then gave him the opportunity of either going for what he had achieved, a "generous" lower option of £1,000 and a tantalising high option of £56,000.
Andrew responded: "I know I'm going to be hated by the two who aren't here but I'm going to go for £1,000 and try to get back."
Bradley agreed, adding: "Mathematically, that was the right thing to do."

Taken aback, Andrew exclaimed: "Ooh, hello!"
A little dumb struck but not completely surprised, Bradley added: "Ooh..."
