EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith danced with her lookalike mum as she spends lockdown with her parents.

The 18-year-old actress is making the most of her time away from the BBC One soap with a variety of fun hobbies.

In addition to painting, working out, and playing guitar, Maisie has been uploading fun videos to her TikTok account - and got the family involved for the latest addition.

In the clip, Maisie and her momager Julia are dancing and lip-syncing, with the flame-haired star dressed in a baggy pink tracksuit.

Her wavy locks are tied into a high ponytail, secured with a scrunchie - and her mum's own red hair loose around her shoulders.

Julia is also dressed causally in a blue T-Shirt and jeans - keeping up with her teen daughter's moves like a pro.

At the end of the video, Maisie's dad Stephen appears in the clip, with the Tiffany Butcher actress simply captioning the post: "Family edition xxx".

Production on all British soaps was cancelled last month due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

This means that our favourite young soap stars have been forced to hunker down with their families as they follow new government guidelines.

Yesterday, Maisie suggested that she was struggling spending so much time with her family as she shared a video of herself smashing a wooden cabinet with a hammer in her front garden.

She captioned the black and white snap: "Two weeks in quarantine with my rents got me like..."

Earlier this week, Maisie delighted fans as she marked her 12 year anniversary on EastEnders with a selection of behind-the-scenes images from her time on the soap.
