Terrified Peter Andre can’t sleep over fears doctor wife Emily will get coronavirus
PETER Andre has revealed he can’t sleep because he is so terrified his doctor wife Emily will get coronavirus.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the concerned 47-year-old compared the situation to a world war as he opened up about the struggles of living with someone on the front line – admitting he has had “sleepless nights”.

Emily, 30, has been hard at work as an NHS doctor since the pandemic broke out - while Pete has been looking after the children at home, worrying about Emily’s family and his own parents back in Australia.
Explaining his fears, he told us: “Five out of seven of her family work in the NHS right now. I am so worried about the whole family - I worry about Emily's mum and dad because they work right in the midst of this.
“I worry about my mum and dad because they're in their late 80s and in Australia, in the high risk group. It's really scary. It's like a world war but without the violence of the war - it's a war without the guns.”
The dad-of-four continued: “Of course I've had sleepless nights, of course I worry about Emily, I worry about the kids.
“She says to me that her biggest worry is me getting it because I'm 47. I'm not concerned about that, I am concerned about her a lot and that follows through to the kids.
“She's thinking about me and my contact with the children and passing anything onto me and I am thinking about her.”
Emily, who qualified as a doctor in 2015, has been taking extra care to protect the family amid the outbreak.
This has meant having limited contact with her children - Amelia, six, and Theo, three - and Peter's other two kids with his ex-wife Katie Price, Junior, 14, and Princess, 12.

She also changes her clothes and showers when she gets in from work as an extra precaution.
Pete’s comments come after the coronavirus pandemic reached a grim milestone with the number of people infected worldwide soaring past one million.
Today the death roll rose to 3,605, with a further 644 deaths in just 24 hours and 38,168 COVID-19 coronavirus cases now confirmed in the UK.
