Perrie Edwards is the ‘perfect wifey’ in lockdown as she cooks and cleans for Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain every day

LIVERPOOL star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been gushing about his girlfriend Perrie Edwards on social media, and even described her as the “perfect wifey”.

Footballer Alex, 26, did a live Q&A session on Colossal Sports Management’s Instagram page last night and followers couldn’t help but ask about his Little Mix girlfriend, Perrie.

In response to the question: “Is Perrie annoying you yet or are use getting on in isolation? (sic), Alex replied: “She has been tremendous during quarantine. She’s proper house wifey.

“She’s been cleaning up, cooking every day, meals have been unbelievable. She doesn’t get annoyed with me playing the Playstation. She’s top, I love her!”

However, it seems Alex hasn’t been tuning in to Perrie’s Instagram story as just last night she shared a clip of herself waking up from a nap and Alex could be heard playing video games in the background.

Perrie captioned the clip: “Just woke up from a lovely nap (building the trampoline wiped me out) and all I can hear is Alex talking Playstation nonense,” before adding: “Please make it stop lord. I’ve had enough.”

Another fan asked Alex what he thought of Little Mix’s new single Break Up Song, to which Alex answered: “I really like it, it’s got that old school Eighties vibe. It’s a bop, it’s a bop. It gets played about 800 times in this house every day at the minute.

“If you haven’t already, check it out,” he added, before admitting he’s a fan of pineapple as a pizza topping.

He also admitted that his pop star girlfriend, 26, has converted him when it comes to a Sunday roast dinner and also made a delicious chorizo pasta dish this week.

The pair have been giving fans a glimpse of their glamorous home via social media as they keep each other entertained.

Perrie and Alex moved in together last year and the Little Mix star revealed her beloved cat Jack had also joined them in the stunning pad.

The 26-year-old gave an insight to her domestic bliss with Liverpool and England star Alex, 26, in photos on Instagram.

The couple have been entertaining fans in self-isolation with fun dance moves on their swish marble stairs.

The marble aesthetic continues up the stairs which are lined with black railings, while the home is blessed with large corridors and glass walls looking out into the garden.

The famous pair can enjoy midnight dips in their luxury hot tub during self isolation, or a swim in their indoor pool.

The Little Mix star’s childhood cat Jack has also moved into their love nest and as the Liverpool midfielder attempted to make friends with Jack, Perrie revealed more of the couple’s lush home.

Sitting at their breakfast bar, the singer showed off her culinary skills as she cooked pancakes on a hot plate using a selection of copper utensils.

The kitchen features a twin stainless steel oven with white cabinets, uplighting and wooden surfaces.

Highlights of copper in the utensils and bar stools give the kitchen a modern feel, while the shelves are packed with pretty pink pots filled with plants.

In a video on Instagram, Perrie panned round the room and revealed a gorgeous love seat in the corner of the room by the kitchen’s French doors.

In-keeping with Perrie’s 70s style, the wicker chair featured a comfy-looking cushioned seat with a back made out of different-sized discs.

In a photo of Perrie in the chair, fans caught a glimpse of the stylish hexagon-tiled flooring with honeycomb detailing.
