Joe Exotic’s former producer claims Netflix’s Tiger King ‘doesn’t go far enough to show how crazy he is’
TIGER King star Joe Exotic's ex-producer has accused Netflix of downplaying the extent of his "craziness" revealing how Joe once brutally shot a horse in the head to serve up to his big cats.
The program has been a hit with fans, thanks to the way it follows the twisted story of animal abuse, and the war between Joe and founder of Big Cat Rescue, Carole Baskin.

However, Joe's ex producer Rick Kirkham, who also features in the documentary, says we have still yet to scratch the surface.
Speaking to TMZ, Rick said: "If anything the documentary doesn’t go far enough to show how crazy Joe is."
He then revealed how he lied to a woman about taking care of her horse: "He walked right up to that horse trailer, pulled out his revolver, shot the horse in the head, then cut it up and fed it to the tigers."
It was the kind of thing, Rick admitted, that Joe would do on a "daily basis".
He even went as far as to tell the lady that the horse would be back in her possession the following day, before he cruelly massacred it with his revolver.
Docu-series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem And Madness was planned as an investigation into the illegal trade of endangered animals.
The cast of colourful characters also includes a drugs kingpin who claims he was the inspiration for 1983 Al Pacino film Scarface, a dodgy businessman who sneaked tiger cubs into hotels to entertain glamour models and two heterosexual male drug addicts who agreed to a three-way gay marriage with Exotic.
The former tiger trader is seen embroiled in an epic feud with Carole Baskin, who owns the Big Cat Rescue Sanctuary in Florida.
In a blog post, the blonde claimed the series “lies” to attract viewers and that the interviewees are "not credible".
She went on to say that it has a segment "devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don 21 years ago".
