CHANTELLE Houghton stripped down to a bikini and bodypaint for a surprise appearance in Netflix’s Tiger King at an animal rights protest.

The 36-year-old first rose to fame after winning series four of Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, despite entering the house as a non-celebrity - and appears again tonight in E4 spin-off Best Shows Ever.

She went on to have a short-lived marriage to fellow housemate and The Ordinary Boys singer Preston, before having a little girl with Katie Price's ex-husband Alex Reid in 2012.

While Chantelle regularly appeared on reality and panel shows at the start of the last decade, many viewers were shocked to see her appear in the new Netflix docu-series about infamous animal collector, Joe Exotic.

In the clip, taken from 2011, Chantelle could be seen stripped down to her pants and covered in bodypaint to look like a tiger.

She then stood in a cage to help support PETA's (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) campaign against the likes of Joe, 57, who kept 1,200 lions, tigers and bears.

As she posed outside the Houses of Parliament, Chantelle held up a sign which read: "The cruellest show on earth. Ban wild animals in circuses."

Joe went from quirky entertainer to serving 22 years behind bars for trafficking and killing animals and paying a hitman to murder Carole Baskin.

The animal rights activist was critical of Joe, his zoo and other parks like it.

He in return would publicly threaten her on his online show and on one occasion filled her mailbox with venomous snakes.

Their bitter rivalry escalated to new heights when Joe tried to hire a hitman for $3,000 to kill Carole.

Following his arrest and conviction for ordering the hit on Carole, he has made extreme claims Carole killed her first husband, Jack 'Don' Lewis.

Don went missing in 1997 after "going away to Costa Rica" and never returning.

He was declared legally dead in 2002, and Carole has vehemently denied Joe's accusations that she killed Jack and either buried his body under a septic tank, or fed him to her tigers.

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness is available to stream now on Netflix.
