The pop star was being interviewed by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for the show from her home in Surrey when all hell broke loose.

But as she tried to talk about the band's new single she was left exasperated when her dogs wouldn't stop barking.

Then she collapsed in giggles as she realised someone was at the door.

Her bandmate Jade Thirlwall was forced to take over the interview as Leigh-Anne got her pets in order.

And viewers were in hysterics with one fan dubbing the segment "jolly japes".

"Oh my Hahahaha would you have made sure that you was in a room where the dogs couldn’t get in Haha or make noise," another fan tweeted.

"I’m obsessed. Leigh-Anne is killing me on #ThisMorning," another added.

The girls were interviewed from home about the band's new single Break Up Song as they work from home during the coronavirus lockdown.

On how they are keeping busy in lockdown, Jade admitted: “Keeping myself very busy. I’ve got Lego on the go, jigsaws, colouring in. I feel like I’ve gone back twenty years and I’ve turned into a child. I’m keeping myself entertained anyway, I’m not bored yet.”

Leigh-Anne added: “It’s just mad really. I’ve been cooking loads, I love cooking… I feel like getting into a routine is what’s getting me through. I get up, I work out, I make some breakfast, chill out a little bit, watch a bit of Netflix.. Drinking on the weekends.”

And being in lockdown means she gets to spend much more time with her boyfriend, Watford footballer Andre Gray.

“On a normal day we don’t really see each other much, he’s usually in hotels, but now we are literally together all the time," she said.

"It has been lovely, I’m trying to make the most of it because we’re not going to get this again.”

But they have started "pranking eachother" as boredom sets in.

"I’m just looking over my shoulder constantly now… I started it, I tried to sellotape his phone to his face and then he decided to squeeze water in my face.

"And then I cracked an egg on his bum and then he cracked an egg on my face.”

Phil suggested that now would be the perfect time for Andre to do another prank on her, when she was live on the telly, to which she responded: “Could you imagine? No, he’s not that bad.”

Little Mix’s new talent TV show, Little Mix: The Search, has been postponed during the coronavirus pandemic but Jade insists the band aren't getting stressed about the delay.

Jade said: “We’ve found some amazing bands, some amazing artists and we can’t wait for the world to see it.

"We’ve already started the editing process with the team… we’re quite chilled out about it, we’re not getting stressed at all.”

Talking about the new album, Leigh-Anne said: “I think there’s been quite a good process with this album. We haven’t put the pressure on ourselves… It’s probably one of our favourites.”

Last week, Perrie Edwards revealed Little Mix have postponed the release of their new album amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The singer, 26, joined Heart Breakfast hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden via videolink as the group dropped new single Break Up Song.

Perrie explained: "Well I think with that the single, I think we didn’t want to push it back because we just wanted the world to hear it so that’s why we’ve released it now.

"Because we love it so much and I feel like it’s such a good upbeat positive uplifting song and that’s just what people need right now, but with the album, I think we are going to have to postpone it, yeah."

And it's not just the album's release date that's been affected but the new track's music video too.

Jamie asked about the group's plans to film in Brazil.

Perrie replied: "Yeah well that was supposed to be our second single, the music video that we were going to do out in Brazil but obviously when the whole corona thing first happened, they were stopping people from travelling, so the girls would’ve been in Brazil for such a long time, and then tried to fly back they would’ve had to been quarantined and stuff.

"So they shortened the trip. Obviously I couldn’t go to Brazil because I was poorly at the time, so they put the trip down short before that anyway, and then when it was just the gig, they just said it was probably worth not you not going."

Perrie has turned into a full-fledged housewife while self-isolating with footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

She confessed she hasn't stopped cooking and cleaning for the Liverpool midfielder since going into lockdown.

Appearing on Instagram Live, Perrie opened up on life inside their mansion during the coronavirus outbreak.

And while she may be pleased to be spending some quality time with her beau, who is currently on a break from football amid the pandemic, the singer admitted it hasn't been without its hardships.

She revealed: "I literally keep saying to people, when they’re like 'how is Alex?' I’m like, he’s good, but one, try rationing with an athlete in your house. It’s impossible, he’s never full.

"He’s like a pit that doesn’t fill up. He’s eaten literally everything in the kitchen, I’ve done nothing but cook and clean, I feel like a little housewifey, and he has a funny every half hour every day.

"Because he’s so energetic everyday training he’ll do like his training sessions and then he’ll just have a funny half hour and I’m just like 'what are you doing now?'"

She later added: "I’ve never cooked for him before either because he usually has a chef with the Liverpool team. It’s alright for some.

"So when I cook for him I get embarrassed, because I’m like, if it’s crap or I give him food poisoning, then what? Let’s not panic but obviously being trapped in the house I had to cook for him everyday."

Perrie also revealed she's missing her family after spending time apart.

The X Factor winner continued: "I miss my mam a lot, I’m a mummy’s girl. Like whenever I’m away or if I’m tired or if I don’t feel well, I’m like 'I just want my mum'.

"I’m 26 but I’m like a 6-year-old so it’s really hard not being able to see her because she’s high risk, because she’s got slow pneumonia, so she’s got water on the lungs so she has to be extra careful so I’m trying to stay away from her but I do miss like seeing everyone, it feels a bit bizarre.

"But luckily I’m isolating with Alex and with Ellie, Ellie is my best friend, cousin, PA, everything wrapped into one so we’ve got each other so that’s good.";

Elite football clubs are not expected to play again until at least June 1 - despite action being suspended until April 30.

The newly-planned timetable would then see players given a pre-season of a month before an intense programme of matches.

Perrie and Alex recently treated fans to a cute dance routine on Instagram.

In the clip, the couple perform a perfectly in-sync routine as they flick their feet while making their way up a small set of marble stairs out of the kitchen.
