But as the pandemic hit he was forced to turn delivery driver to keep his business afloat.

He’s now generously offered to feed our heroic medics as they battle the deadly bug.

Adam said: “We want to show our support to the fantastic staff of the NHS.
“Who in our hours of need ask no questions, no matter the dangers to themselves!

“To say thanks, The Spinn will pay for any NHS staff members food ourselves xx.”

Adam runs the Manchester-based bar and lounge with his best pal Scott Graham.

He left Emmerdale in 2017 and decided to change his career to make his kids proud.

Adam said at the time: “I want to be the man and father my kids look up too… I want to try new things I want to take risks!!

“If it doesn’t work out at least I took the jump ! This year has been tough but I’ve learnt a lot and am ready to learn so much more!!”

But last week Adam revealed his anguish as the government shut down all bars and restaurants in a bid to stop the spread of the virus.

He said they cannot afford to close the new venture The Spinn due to monster overheads.

The star is now offering deliveries to homes in Manchester as he supports members of the community.

He was inundated with messages from thankful NHS workers after announcing he’d give them dinner for free.

But many insisted they would still pay because they want to help small businesses during this financial difficulty.

One said: “This is lovely gesture, but I would pay as I think it is so important that we support small businesses (I have worked for the NHS 20yrs, and what we are going through at the moment is crazy) ”

Another added: “Thank you for this generous gesture. I’m an NHS doctor and ordered takeaway from you yesterday – I was more than happy to pay for it myself, it’s important to me to support small businesses in these difficult times.”

Like other families across the UK. Adam is being forced apart from seeing his loved ones – and famous brothers Ryan and Scott Thomas.

Ryan – who just had a baby with Lucy Mecklenburgh – had to introduce son Roman to his daughter Scarlett over video call this week as they self-isolate.
