In a sultry mirror selfie, the mother-of-two showed off her shortened brunette hairstyle with the caption: "When you chop it all off .. coz you realise you can’t get to whom made my self esteem sit the better for a while @inanchlondon .... I did it myself @inanch_justme."
But despite her fears, her new trim was met with a range of pleasant comments including: "Absolutely stunning xx", "This length really suits you" and Love it shorter."
The 40-year-old was even asked to share her hairdressing knowledge.
One follower pleaded: "Please share your tips on how to cut it yourself x"
Another fan took time to tell the singer: "You look wonderful, and sometimes change is good for us. Even when we don't necessarily want it.
"I know you can rock pretty much any hairstyle because when I look at you the main thing I see is a strong, motivated, caring, determined, and pure hearted woman.
"Love to you, you beautiful, strong queen!"
Michelle, who is mum to AJ and Faith, recently revealed the family had gone into self-isolation after a neighbour tested positive for coronavirus.
In a long post, she explained that they had decided to go into "house isolation" after "much deliberation".
She wrote: “We do not have any symptoms… kids , me and Hugh have been told to go about our normal daily life, unless we show symptoms!
“That’s the advice and what’s been explained to us from the authorities. However, for those at school with our children, we are keeping Faith and AJ , and myself on 'house isolation' after much deliberation.”
The family later left home after the seven days were up so daughter Faith could attend a gymnastics competition.
She said at the time: “I did the whole 7 day isolation thing last week. So who ever sees us out and about I’m prob less like to give u anything (NOT THAT I OR WE HAD IT) then you are to us!
"Everyone has opinions and their views .. until we are forced into something we can’t control!”
