Inside Tisha Merry’s new Youtube filming room in home with Alan Halsall after quitting Corrie
Tisha Merry has turned to vlogging since quitting the cobbles of Corrie back in 2018.
The 26-year-old actress has eased effortlessly into her new YouTuber role and the chic bedroom where she does her filming – which she shares with boyfriend Alan Halsall – has got everyone talking.
Tisha has filmed her latest vlogs from the spacious room, which features a king-size bed with a grey velvet bedstead on one side.
On the other is an opulent mustard-hued £869 sofa and a £395 footstool in a matching yellow hue.
The soap star admitted her filming room is her pride and joy.
Sharing a snap of the interiors on her Instagram, Tisha wrote: “My YouTube room is finally starting to come together!
“I’ve always dreamt of having mustard furniture but been so scared of it being too bold or clashing with other colours.”
She went on: “I braved it and it totally works! This room is soon becoming one of my favourites.”
Tish played Steph Britton from 2013 to 2017 on Corrie, with a brief return stint in 2018.
She previously said leaving the soap was the “best thing” that happened to her and launched her YouTube channel three months ago.
The actress went public with her romance with Alan, 37, in May 2019, sharing a snap of them kissing at a wedding in Cheshire.
She moved into Alan’s five-bedroom £750,000 mansion in Worlsey, Manchester, at the end of last year.
“She has been so good for him and really made him smile again,” a source told The Sun at the time.
They are very similar and love to work out together so they have lots of the same interests and Sienna adores him.”
Alan and his ex, former Corrie star Lucy-Jo Hudson, had overseen every aspect of the new-build home’s design.
The couple, who share a six-year-old daughter called Sienna-Rae, renovated the pad after securing planning permission to demolish an ageing bungalow on the site.
But the pair split in May 2018, just months after moving into their “forever” pad.
Alan is now happy with Tisha and their relationship keeps going from strength to strength, although the actor revealed fans have been urging him to get down on one knee.
He told the : “The pressure is there from day one but we’ve not been together that long, so I think we’ll just enjoy ourselves for now.”
He added: “It’s great, she’s a wonderful girl and I’m really happy.”
