FANS of The Walking Dead have ripped into what appears to be a baffling ‘mistake’.
Season 10 of the popular AMC post-apocalyptic horror show is well underway in the UK, with viewers eagerly awaiting the final episode of iconic character Michonne (Danai Gurira).
But as the character finally bows out, eagle-eyed fans were distracted by what could be a strange plot hole in the most recent episode.
With Hilltop in ruins following a disastrous battle, Michonne and Virgil (Kevin Carroll) uncover a shocking secret that’s left people scratching their heads.
Michonne found a smartphone with an intriguing sketch of herself and the stepdaughter of original departed leader Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) Judith on the screen.
Strangely, Judith is depicted the iconic hat of Rick’s son Carl (Chandler Riggs) and appears several years older than she would have been the last time her stepfather saw her.

Unsurprisingly, a number of fans took to social media to point this out.
One fan tweeted: “So how does the drawing of Judith on the phone look like Judith today not when Rick ‘died’?”
Another wrote: “So the drawing on the phone is obviously of grown Judith? Has someone seen Judith currently, where is Rick now?!”
Meanwhile, Reddit user Tennessee-Terry commented: “Could be a minor plot hole but how did the phone have a sketch of what Judith looks like now? Rick hasn’t seen her in 6 years. There’s no way he knows what she looks like now.”
One viewer said: “[Former showrunner and writer] Scott M. Gimple confirmed that the drawing of Judith is intentionally the present version of the character as opposed to toddler Judith, which is the last time Rick saw her.”
Andrew Lincoln is confirmed to be reprising his role in a series of three films based on the television series and Robert Kirkman’s original comic books.
This latest discovery could be the first indicator of Michonne appearing alongside Rick in the upcoming trilogy.
The final show, episode 16, is called A Certain Doom, and will air on April 12, 2020 on AMC.
The show airs the following day (April 13, 2020) in the UK on Fox UK at 9pm.
With major film productions all over the world postponed amid coronavirus fears, any appearance of Rick and Michonne in The Walking Dead franchise could be significantly delayed.
