Casey Affleck stocks up on coronavirus supplies while wearing protective mask and gloves

BEN Affleck's brother Casey was doing his bit to stop the spread on Friday.

The 44-year-old actor popped out for groceries in Los Angeles, and covered his face and hands.

The Manchester By The Sea star wore a mask and latex gloves for the errand, which is one of the few permitted activities while the state of California is under a stay at home order to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

His head was covered by a baseball cap.

Casey kept it casual in a grey T-shirt and black tracksuit pants, as he was spotted at Lassens in the city.

Responsibly, the Oscar-winner didn't binge buy, although seemed to have filled four carrier bags with produce.

Affleck's breakthrough role was as Robert Ford in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, alongside Brad Pitt as Jesse James.

He won an Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe in 2017, for his role in Manchester By The Sea.

Casey shares two sons, Indiana and Atticus, with ex-wife Summer Phoenix - the sister of the late River Phoenix.

He has two movies, The World to Come and Every Breath You Take, in post production.
