Little Mix to get waxworks at Madame Tussauds after Jade rants they should ‘melt Olly Murs’ figure’ to create them

JADE Thirlwall waxing lyrical about Little Mix not having statues in Madame Tussauds may have paid off.
She moaned this week that she and bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock were not represented at the famous central London tourist attraction.
But I can reveal that following her rant — in which she suggested Olly Murs’ figure could be melted down to provide the wax — Madame Tussauds is now looking at introducing figures of the girls.
A source has now said: “Madame Tussauds is always monitoring what celebrities are popular and which ones aren’t. It has championed girl power in the past couple of years with new statues of Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande.
“Little Mix seem a natural fit in London. The team are looking at how they can make it happen and whether there is space inside the exhibits for four new statues, which is quite an undertaking.
“It’s a case of working out who can be moved out to make room for more relevant stars like Little Mix.”
Jade said of a waxwork this week: “I think we deserve one. Budgeting permitting, get those four waxworks out there because, come on, we’ve earned our place.
“You can melt down Olly Murs and make it into us.”
It takes roughly four months to make each waxwork though, so it could be a while until Jade sees her dream come true.
They will be celebrating a decade as a band in August next year, so there is plenty of time to have them ready for a big celebration.
A spokesman for Madame Tussauds said: “We always keep a keen eye on what’s happening in the world of celebrity — watch this space.”
In recent days Little Mix have had a video shoot cancelled, their tour thrown into uncertainty and their BBC1 show The Search delayed.
At least I’ve been able to give the girls a little bit of good news.
Harry bene-fits
HARRY Styles has found a novel way of keeping himself occupied during his period of self-isolation.
He has started to learn Italian and sign language.
Harry told Fenn O’Meally on BBC 1Xtra: “Now is the perfect time to learn a new skill and try a new hobby, right? We have nothing but time.
“I was learning Italian and doing some sign language classes.” Harry has enlisted pals to keep him company. He added: “I’m lucky, I’m with friends in our little safe self-isolation pod.
“We’re being careful, listening to music, playing games, doing face masks.”
Room for a little one?
As the Italian’s say, bene (good) for you Harry.
Bro saved Jade's Jack from pills
AHEAD of the 11th anniversary of his wife Jade Goody’s death this Sunday her husband Jack Tweed has said he would be dead if it wasn’t for his family.
Jack admitted his brother found him “sitting with bottles of tablets” in front of him.
In an exclusive and emotional interview, Jack said: “I did have suicidal thoughts for a while. I just thought, ‘What’s the point in all this?’.
“I’d lost everything and never felt so low in my life. My brother found me sitting with bottles of tablets in front of me.”
Jack married Jade a month before her death on Mother’s Day in 2009. She lost her battle with cervical cancer aged just 27, having been given the diagnosis while in India’s version of Big Brother in 2008.
Jack said: “My mental health has suffered a lot since Jade died. I’ve got acute anxiety which is very hard to deal with. I went on medication for a while but I didn’t really like it. The anxiety is awful. It makes you feel like you can’t cope.”
Jade left two children, Bobby and Freddie, who she had with Jeff Brazier.
Jack said Mother’s Day will be “extra hard this year”, adding: “We would always do as much as we could with Bobby and Freddie, nothing was more important to Jade then her kids.
“Like most mums, she would have done anything for them and she truly did.”

WE might have seen the last of Amy Adams as Lois Lane. She played the journalist – Superman’s love interest – in three DC films but Amy said: “I’d totally be open to playing Lois but I think the studio is moving in a different direction.”
Polka hot, Gisele
GISELE Bundchen will drive her fans dotty in his bikini.
The supermodel is soaking up the sun in Costa Rica with her American footballer husband Tom Brady and their two kids.
Six-time Super Bowl champ Tom quit the New England Patriots this week after a stellar 20 years – so he and Gisele have reason to relax and unwind with the nippers.
Looks like a touchdown in paradise.

Ed is Nic's wish
NICOLE Scherzinger is desperate for Ed Sheeran to write her a tune.
The Pussycat Doll told Radio 2’s Ken Bruce: “His music is timeless and classic. I’ve got to get him to write me a song. He’s one of your greats, he’s gonna go down a legend.”
She said her favourite track from the hitmaker is 2014’s Bloodstream, and added: “Ed is a good friend of mine and I’m just a massive fan of his brilliant gift of songwriting, and this song in particular.
“I love when he goes into it because I feel the song in my blood- stream, in my veins.
“If I were to maybe cover one of his songs it might even be Bloodstream because I just love how the end takes you somewhere else.”
Too busy for reunion
MELANIE C has said the Spice Girls may never reform.
She blames bandmates Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner’s hectic schedules for making it tricky to meet.
In a new interview, Sporty Spice told how last summer’s 13-gig reunion took a huge amount of effort, even without fifth member Victoria Beckham.
Mel said: “Spice Girls is incredible, but we are a nightmare.
“I wish more people would realise that. It is so, so difficult to get this thing to happen. It really is so explosive that it only happens in very short bursts. I hope it happens again. It may, it may not.”
And Mel proved the Spice Girls really are divas when she recounted a story about their previous reunion as a five-piece, at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
She said: “We were in the stadium on the day of the performance, and these things always run over time during rehearsal.
“They told us we didn’t have time to rehearse.
“We were saying, ‘There’s no way we can’t. Surely health and safety would get upset, right, killing a Spice Girl?’
“We had to throw a bit of a diva strop so we got our rehearsal.”
