Coronation Street spoilers next week – Alya makes a shocking discovery about Geoff and Ken is scammed
ALYA shocks Yasmeen with a police officer who claims to have incriminating information about Geoff next week in Coronation Street.
Here’s the lowdown on what’s happening on the ITV soap next week…
1. Clayton causes trouble

David is heartbroken when he discovers that his wife Shona - who’s refusing to see him - has been in contact with her murderer son Clayton.
David visits Clayton and warns him to steer clear of his wife, but the thug just laughs in his face.
2. David faces more heartbreak
11
David tells Maria that Shona has asked for a divorce, but reckons that it’s for the best given that he’s able to move on now.
He heads for a drink and sets his sights on Alina in Victoria Garden, who looks down.
David sits down next to her and offers her a drink.
When she says yes, there's a clear spark between the pair.
3. Gemma spirals

Gemma wakes up from a nightmare in which she hurts baby Aled.
Later, poor Gemma is disheartened when the health visitor tells Gemma that Llio has lost weight and that she needs to increase her formula milk.
When Gemma looks bemused, the health visitor quizzes Gemma about her mental state but Gemma insists she’s fine.
After she’s gone, Gemma rushes outside to momentarily escape the screaming babies.
But when she tries the handle to get back in she's horrified to realise the front door is locked and that she's trapped outside.
4. David gets close to Alina

As David and Alina get cosy, David texts Nick claiming that Alina’s ill and that she needs the rest of the day off.
Later, after a bust up with Seb in the Rovers over Alina, Nick urges David not to give up on his wife.
A distraught David then bursts into tears.
Will he get Shona back?
5. Emma is hurt by Seb

Emma is furious with Seb for punching David.
She then tells him he’s shown his true feelings for Alina before dumping him and kicking him out of the house.
Will Seb fight for Emma, or move onto Alina?
6. Gemma worries Bernie
11
Bernie arrives at Gemma’s house and is shocked to find her daughter in a state in the backyard.
Mother and daughter try to force the door together and are relieved when it bursts open.
But when they get inside, Gemma breaks down and tells Bernie she’s an unfit mum.
Gemma then admits she's knackered but too scared to sleep.
Bernie suggests she’ll move in to lend a hand but insists that Gemma goes to see a doctor.
Gemma agrees but on the condition that they don’t tell Chesney.
When Chesney arrives home, he’s confused by the news that Bernie is moving in but Gemma and Bernie remain tight-lipped.
Later in the week, Gemma tries to cancel her doctor’s appointment.
But Bernie isn't having any of it and threatens to tell Chesney everything if she doesn't go.
During the appointment, Bernie tells Dr Gaddas that Gemma isn’t sleeping.
But Gemma can’t admit she’s struggling with motherhood and puts on a brave face, insisting that she’s just tired.
Afterwards, Bernie is annoyed at Gemma for downplaying her symptoms and tells her she seems to have postnatal depression.
7. Tyrone pokes his nose into Evelyn’s business

Tyrone discovers that his Nan Evelyn has been stood up by Arthur and is quick to give Arthur a piece of his mind.
He warns Arthur to stay away from Evelyn in future.
8. Ken is scammed
11
Ken drags Norris to the Stillwaters’ art class.
Later in the week, they head to the Rovers but when Ken realises that Eccles will be home alone, he tries to take the dog back to Stillwaters.
When resident Charles discovers that Ken has smuggled in a dog, he issues Ken with an extortionate fine.
9. Yasmeen refuses to listen to Alya

Alya continues her campaign against Geoff when she gets in contact with a police officer who claims to have information about him.
In the upcoming scenes, Ryan pretends something awful has happened in order to get Yasmeen to their flat.
But Yasmeen realises she’s been tricked when Alya introduces her to a police officer.
She’s horrified and rushes out, refusing to listen to what the officer has to say.
10. Geoff gets one over on Alya

Alya tells Ryan that Zeedan is getting married but isn’t inviting the family.
Ryan reckons this could be their opportunity to get Yasmeen away from Geoff.
Alya rings back and tells Zeedan they’re coming whether he likes it or not.
She then takes great pleasure in inviting Yasmeen and not Geoff - who isn’t on the guest list.
But later Geoff sneers as he tells her that they’ve booked a hotel and that he’ll be attending the wedding too.
11. Evelyn gives Arthur another chance

Evelyn asks Claudia for another makeover as she prepares for a second date with Arthur.
Luckily he turns up this time, and at the end Arthur suggests they have another date sometime soon.
But will things continue to go smoothly?
