A HILARIOUS teaser clip for this weekend's episode of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway sees the two hosts track Amanda Holden - who they believe is an alien.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that the prime-time show will air without a live studio audience amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

One of the skits that viewers at home can expect has now been revealed, with Ant and Dec donning their matching suits for Men In Brown, a take on blockbuster movie Men In Black.

In the clip, the Geordie duo attend a celebrity masked ball to try and identify the celeb who has been taken over by alien race the Squittarianuvians.

The sketch includes celebrity cameos from Paddy McGuiness, Susanna Reid, Amber Gill, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden - as well as Richard Ayoade who tells the pair: "When the fan goes beepy, you're near an E.T."

Ant and Dec notice that their phone is beeping as they approach Amanda and Amber, with Amanda dashing off to the toilets after indulging in "off quiche".

As the monitor appears to track her movements, Ant and Dec are left convinced that she is the secret alien - but fans will have to tune in on Saturday to find out if they are right.

The Saturday Night Takeaway team have been forced to rehearse the upcoming show over the internet as they practice social distancing.

Ant and Dec shared a photo of their group video chat to social media, writing: "A quick hello from a very different #SaturdayNightTakeaway script meeting!

"We’ll massively miss our studio audience but the show will go on this weekend. Stay safe everyone, we’ll see you on the telly this Saturday."

Earlier this week, The Sun revealed that for the first time in the show's history viewers will be banned from coming to watch the show.

Ant and Dec held an emergency meeting with ITV bosses over the future of their hit primetime show, which involves a large studio audience and encourages participation throughout.

It is the first time the prime time show has gone ahead without an audience and telly insiders say the team are working to ensure the show is adapted accordingly and will remain live.

The news comes just days after Ant and Dec, both 44, confirmed they wouldn’t be flying out to Walt Disney World in Florida with 300 prize winners as part of the show’s grand finale.

Instead their popular “place on the plane” competition will go ahead at a later date.

Last week, extra hand-sanitizing facilities were laid on at television centre in London, where Saturday Night Takeaway is filmed, in bid to keep the audience safe.
