Teen Mom Jenelle Evans claims she suffers ‘depression and anxiety’ over haters after taking ‘abusive’ husband David back
FIRED Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans revealed she has been suffering from “depression and anxiety” over social media hate for taking back her “abusive” husband David Eason.
, 28, split from , 31, in October 2019 after two years of marriage and moved with her children to Nashville, Tennessee, where she filed a restraining order against him and accused him of abuse.
But by January, she dropped the restraining order and .
She is now back to living in the North Carolina home they once shared.
During an appearance on podcast , Jenelle admitted .
She explained: “Sometimes it gets to you really bad. You have to ignore all of it. You have to put down your phone and focus on something else."
When asked if she has “depression and anxiety,” she responded, “Definitely, and a lot lately.”
The MTV star continued: “Since I’ve been off TV everyone is wanting to know about my life 10 times harder. I’m trying to lay low and it’s not working out because everyone is trying to dig.
“I’m off the show now so you guys shouldn’t be digging so much into my life. This is my time for privacy right now. Leave me the f**k alone.”
Jenelle was fired from in May 2019 after David admitted to shooting and killing the family dog for nipping at their daughter Ensley, 3.
As , Jenelle remains under contract until April and is unable to take other opportunities.
Despite the contract, she revealed she has had “private” meetings with other production companies and would even consider a spinoff on MTV.
She explained: “I will do MTV stuff, but I don’t want to do it under the Teen Mom name. I want to be my own person. I want to be known as Jenelle Eason. Not Jenelle Eason from Teen Mom. I’ve grown up.”
Jenelle explained how while MTV “paid good,” she is not getting paid for her appearance on reruns.
She insisted: “If I’m still under contract I should be [getting paid] or let me go.”
As for her Teen Mom co-stars, Jenelle claimed she is “civil” with Briana DeJesus.

She continued: “Chelsea [Houska], she kind of just like lays back and does her own thing. Kailyn [Lowry] just talks s**t all the time 24/7. Leah [Messer] is confused with what to do with herself right now. All of us are confused.”
Jenelle is going to focus on her YouTube channel and look into a career as a producer.
