Stacey Solomon reveals son Rex has finally learnt to say the word ‘mum’ in adorable Instagram post
STACEY Solomon has revealed her son Rex has learnt to say the word mum.
The 30-year-old shared an adorable video of herself in bed with the youngster this morning as he said the word a number of times.
She told her followers: “Chatty pickle this morning. He’s finally getting the hang of mum. It’s only taken me 9 months of breast feeding!”
At the start of this year the Loose Women presenter revealed that Rex’s first word was ‘dadda’ to Joe Swash.
She lamented: "OMG I think he's saying 'Dada' but I don't want to admit it.
"So unfair. How much time do you have to spend with a child before they say 'mum'?"
Stacey is also mum to Zach with former boyfriend Dean Cox and Leighton, 7, from ex-fiancee Aaron Barnhan.
Yesterday she revealed she had to arrange a new birthday party for son Zach after his was cancelled due to the coronavirus.
The family had planned to go to Butlin's but have cancelled after Prime Minister Boris Johnson asked people to cancel non-essential travel.
Stacey admitted she was feeling "really nervous" about the coronavirus epidemic but was trying to put on a brave face.
"Work has been cancelled today," she wrote on Instagram.
"I'm smiling in this picture but I'm actually feeling really nervous... I'm going to take the boys to school and spend the rest of the day working things out."
She added fans won't see her online for a while: "So I'll be off my stories for a while."
