But the TV presenter admitted she also took home the silver two-piece she wore in her show dance.

Stacey, now dating pro partner Kevin Clifton, 37, said: “I nicked the show dance dress.

"I tell you my agent will get an email from Strictly wardrobe department asking for it back now.

“They recycle everything, I had Debbie McGee’s bra. I saw her initials in it.”

It is estimated that a dress could cost £2,000 to buy but the Strictly commissions are rented to other professional competitors after they appear on the show.

Stacey, who made her confession on the Wardrobe Malfunctions podcast, began dating Kevin after ditching long-term boyfriend, personal trainer Sam Tucknott.

Kevin showed his thoughtful side after Stacey’s glitterball trophy was stolen at the show’s wrap party.

She told the podcast: “He’s very sweet. Someone pinched my glitterball at the wrap do, but Kev got another one made. It breaks my heart.”
