Niall Horan says no One Direction reunion in near future after Zayn Malik cuts off contact with ex-bandmates

NIALL Horan has revealed a full One Direction reunion is still years away – as Zayn Malik has cut off all contact with his former bandmates.

Zayn quit the group in 2015 and is now only occasionally seen out, usually with his supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

Opening up about his former bandmate, Niall explained: “He’s quite a hard fella to keep in touch with.

"He’d probably tell you that himself, to be fair.

“I don’t particularly talk to him a lot.

"I mean, if he’s got something coming out or something I will text him.

"He might not reply but I’ll give him a shout, but I don’t know . . .

“After the band, he left for his reasons and then he never really spoke to us much afterwards.”

But Niall is still holding out for a reconciliation, insisting he feels no animosity towards Zayn, who he toured the world with for four years.

He added: “I’ve got no bad blood with him at all but some things have a lifespan.
