SMASH SHOT

Dec Donnelly looks horrified as Ant McPartlin smashes camera – but Saturday Night Takeaway viewers claim it’s a stunt

DEC Donnelly was stunned to see his best mate and co-presenter Ant McPartlin smash a camera on their ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway.

However, viewers claim that Ant destroying the piece of equipment was pre-determined and all part of a stunt.

Dec was horrified when watched Ant throw the camera

The hilarious presenting duo were up to their usual antics as they were on hand to help film the show's opening performance, which saw former X-Factor contestant Ella Henderson and Jax Jones sing This is Real.

Once the performance was over, Ant then shockingly threw the camera in the direction of the camera crew.

Ant's throw did not get the desired outcome, as it missed the camera guys's hands and smashed into two pieces on the floor.

Along with the studio audience, Dec gasped as he decided to do the smart thing and hand his camera back to a member of the crew.

The camera appeared to have broken in two

A red-faced Ant joked that the camera could be screwed back together, but fans at home were not impressed, as one fan said: "Defo fake camera. When both on stage filming, no shots were shown from Ants camera."

Another fan tweeted: "Please tell me Ant didn’t just throw, drop and break that camera, please tell me that was a set up...someone’s going to be in trouble."

"That’s the last time Ant is going to be allowed to hold a camera," another added.

Elsewhere in the show, viewers were left disgusted after after watching a married couple snog with tongues to win a holiday to Orlando.

The raunchy moment sparked complaints from fans who claimed it wasn't appropriate behaviour on a family show before the watershed.

They even had to be pulled apart by Ant who shouted: "That's enough thank you, it's a family show."

They certainly didn't hold back and got stuck straight into a very sloppy kiss to try and win a place at the show's finale in Florida.
