Perrie's mystery illness comes during an intense week for the X Factor winners.
She had to comfort her fellow band members, Jesy and Jade, during a recording of their BBC1 singing competition, The Search.
The girls were overcome with emotion when they were forced to send some of the wannabes packing.
They axed two singers during the auditions during the show which is taped in front of a live studio audience.
Jesy and Jade were so overcome with emotion the recording was paused so that Perrie and Leigh-Anne could comfort them.
An audience member said: “The girls have invested a lot in the people taking part in the show and feel attached to all of them.
