Bradley Walsh ‘to quit playing Doctor Who’s Graham’ after ‘relentless’ filming schedule

BRADLEY Walsh is reportedly set to leave Doctor Who after this year's Christmas special.

The 59-year-old is said to be bidding farewell to the character of Graham O'Brien after two years in Jodie Whitaker's Tardis, alongside his onscreen step-grandson Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole).

Bradley will bow out of the BBC sci-fi hit after having a final outing at Christmas, claimed.

A source said: “Two years is a long time in the world of Doctor Who. Yaz will be back but Christmas will be the last outing for Ryan and Graham.”

The insider claimed the festive special has been filmed, but it's not known how Bradley and Tosin's characters will leave the Tardis.

Policewoman Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Jodie have been confirmed for a third season, the publication claimed.

The Sun has contacted reps for Bradley, Tosin and the BBC for comment.

Doctor Who characters have met grisly ends in the past, with Bill (Pearl Mackie) dying and being converted into a water creature.

Amy (Karen Gillan) died alongside her husband Rory and Clara (Jenna Coleman) was killed by one of the Great Intelligence's minions.

Bradley previously admitted he finds the long filming schedule "relentless".

He told The Mirror last year: "This ain't an easy gig. It's tough and it's relentless.

"But we have great fun making it and the end product is nothing but extraordinary."

The Chase host added that he had to make sure to "rest" and "look after himself" during the gruelling process.

Bradley is keeping busy with The Chase, fronting his travel show, Breaking Bad, with his son Barney and is also working on a new BBC entertainment show with Holly Willoughby.

The pair popped up on the Beeb over Christmas — giving audience members a chance to go to Lapland in new show Take Off.
