What has been released on Netflix in March 2020?

Netflix has pulled out all the stops in March 2020 to bring us some classics such as Space Jam and Goodfellas.

Original documentaries like The English Game about the originals of football and 2019's Apollo 11 based on its moon landing including never-before-seen footage and audio recordings will also be available to viewers.

And to lighten up the mood, comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be on Netflix for it's sixth-season, viewers will be pleased to know.

The cult classic is available from March 3 on Netflix.

The star-studded cast includes, Micheal Jordan, Charles Barkley, Bill Murray, Dan Devito and other NBA stars.

In the 1999 film, lead-actor Micheal Jordan is brought out of retirement by cartoon characters Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes, who need to win a basketball game against a team of aliens called 'Mon Stars', who have stolen the talents of numerous NBA players.

This will give viewers who grew up on the movie a chance to catch up on it, and give the younger audience the chance to see the classic for the first time.

On My Block (Season 3)

Season three of the award-nominated show was released on March 11.

The show focuses on the lives of four high school friends who have to deal with real life issues such as gang violence and deportation issues, mixed with comedy.

Last season ended with the teenagers being bundled into a car, leaving their fate in the air, and so this series we find out what happened to them - and who was behind the kidnapping.

Most of the cast will be returning but the number of episodes will be cut down from 10 to 8.

The English Game

Ever wondered how football first kicked off? Well look no further as Netflix examines the roots and origins of the sport in The English Game.

The six-part drama, filmed in Yorkshire and the North-West, is released on March 20 and traces the beginning of the beautiful game all the way back to Northern Ireland in the mid-1800s.

The series will show "how those involved in its creation reached across the class divide to establish the world's most popular sport", according to Netflix.

Julian Fellowes, who also produced Downtown Abbey, is responsible for bringing this drama to our screens and has said that the show will be a "massive education for football fans".

Letter For The King

In a similar vein to The Witcher, Netflix's latest fantasy offering, Letter For The King will be available from March 20 on Netflix.

The mystical story is based on the best selling Dutch novel 'Tonke Dragt' and will consist of six hour-long episodes.

Letter for the King follows the story of a "ruthless prince who threatens to cast the world into darkness, when a young knight in training named Tiuri (Amir Wilson) embarks on an epic quest to deliver a secret letter to the king," Netflix have said.

Ozark (Season 3)

Netflix's original crime drama is back for a third series on the streaming service on March 27.

The story continues to follow the lives of the Bryde family who fled Chicago for the small town of Ozark after a money-laundering operation went wrong. The family continue to try and escape the clutches of the drug cartel while at the same time seem to be getting more and more tangled up in the web of crime.
