Line of Duty and Killing Eve announce special BBC Sport Relief episodes ahead of new series
SPORT Relief has announced that a special Line of Duty and Killing Eve sketch will air during this year's live show.
Line of Duty fans have been eagerly awaiting a comeback from their favourite coppers, but they might be taken aback by the early preview of the upcoming episode.
The skit will include DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston), DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) and Supt Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), who will be grilling DC Taylor, played by Jason Isaacs.
DC Taylor is set to endure his fair share of hardships, as he goes head to head with his solicitor, played by comedian Lee Mack.
The BBC has revealed that the legal aide, played by Mack, will be completely inept, making it all but impossible for Isaacs to outwit the anti-corruption squad?
Killing Eve fans are also in for a treat as a special spin-off skit is set for screens.
Fans will be excited to see Killing Eve become "Killing Steves" for one night only.
The one-off skit will feature snooker ace Steve Davis, Coronation Street frontrunner Steve McDonald, sports legend Steve Redgrave and presenter and magician Stephen Mulhern, who are going to be comically killed off.
But who is behind the murders?
A blonde assassin is set to go on a killing spree, exclusively targeting victims with the first name ‘’Steve’’.
Season 3 of Killing Eve is expected to make a comeback to screens on April 26, and fans will be excited to see who gets caught in the crossfire now that the cat and mouse chase between Eve and Villanelle is over.
Sport Relief 2020 is set to be broadcast live from Manchester and will be fronted by BBC stars including Gary Lineker, Paddy McGuinness, Alex Scott, Oti Mabuse, Emma Willis, Tom Allen, Maya Jama and Rylan Clark-Neal.
Sport Relief is raising money to tackle issues such as homelessness, child poverty, and domestic abuse, both in the UK and around the globe.
Sport Relief will air on BBC One from 7pm on Friday, March 13.
