Charlie Condou quits Holby City after Ben’s shock kiss with Dom
CHARLIE Condou has revealed he's quit Holby City.
The actor - who plays consultant Ben in the BBC medical drama - was announced as the new star signing last September.

But just months later Charlie has announced he has left the show.
Speaking on today's Lorraine, he was asked if he was going to be sticking around long-term when he revealed the shock news.
He said: "I’m not - it’s just a stint. Just a little stint."
However he did insist that he could make a comeback at a later date adding: "I’ve had conversations with them, you never know, watch this space."

On screen viewers were left shocked last week after Ben kissed Dom - despite being in a relationship with Dom's best friend Essy.
In tonight’s episode Ben will tell Dom the kiss was "no big deal" and then reveal plans to propose to Essy.
And Charlie admitted it was even a shock to him.
He said: "I think so because Essy’s his best friend and now he knows Ben’s going to propose it makes it all the more awkward."

The actor also spoke about how handy the role in Holby was as it is so close to his house in London.
He said: "I loved my time at Coronation Street but being in Manchester was really difficult because my family were in London and i wasn’t getting to see them.
"Holby’s perfect because I can drop my kids off at school and be at Holby in 15 minutes."
