ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were left shocked when last night's Saturday Night Takeaway audience laughed at a very inappropriate moment.
Setting up a heartwarming section where they gifted a family a house, Ant said: "Tragically three years ago they lost their daughter when she was just nine and a half weeks old."
But at that exact moment, the audience burst into laughter, having spotted something amusing happening on the big screen behind them.
They'd seen husband Mark was helping his wife Petra, who had no idea they were being filmed, get something out of her teeth.
Shocked at the laughter, Ant told the audience: "OK, let's not concentrate on the picture for the moment because this is important."
The strange scenes didn't escape viewers at home, with one tweeting: "And the award for poorly timed audience laughter goes to... "
Another wrote: "Wondered why the audience were laughing... the woman picking her teeth will be mortified she was caught on camera."
Couple Petra and Simon were sat in the audience when Ant and Dec revealed they were giving away a house, before showing their three children sitting on the sofa in the new digs up in Newcastle.
Bringing the shocked couple onto the stage, the pair revealed they had lost their daughter Darcey and how Petra ran a charity which had supported more than 2000 bereaved children and their families ever since.
An emotional Ant told the tearful pair: "That brand new house, that house now belongs to you and here are the keys.
