HOLLYOAKS fans were stunned tonight when Brooke's real life famous parents played the couple adopting her baby.
Viewers were left scratching their heads as they watched the soap and recognised the couple - who turned out to be vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant from BBC1's Fame Academy.
Actress Talia Grant, 18, is their daughter in real life, and the family appeared on screen together in emotional scenes that saw the familiar couple adopt the teen's baby.
Tweets started pouring in when they entered Brooke's hospital room and people spotted the real life couple.
One viewer tweeted: "Is that David Grant adopting Brooke's baby."
Another raved: "Wonderful seeing @CarrieGrant1 and @DavidGrantSays on @Hollyoaks tonight😀 alongside the fabulous @babygtals .. such an amazing storyline too!"
As one more celebrated: "Did I just see David and Carrie Grant from Fame Academy in #Hollyoaks "
The couple also have kids Olive Gray and Imogen Beloved Grant.
Meanwhile, fans were left in tears when all hope was lost for Ollie, who wanted to keep their baby.
Viewers broke down in tears as Ollie was forced to give up his baby after being told his dad Luke Morgan was dying.
The teenager footballer - who is played by actor Aedan Duckworth in the Channel 4 soap - was planning to keep his baby with Brooke after she decided she didn’t want to be a mother.
But when Luke was told his dementia was hereditary he finally told Ollie about it and broke the news that he couldn’t help him raise the baby so Ollie would have to say goodbye.
