JOE Swash was supported by his Dancing On Ice co-star Alex Murphy last night as he paid an emotional tribute to Caroline Flack on the show.

The 36-year-old presenter has been left devastated by his pal’s tragic passing over the weekend and struggled as he took to the ice.

Following his performance to Robbie Williams' hit Candy, pro skater Alex took the lead talking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

She told them: “This was really hard to get through and do a happy number when he feels the way that he feels, so I’m so proud of him.”

Phillip addressed Joe saying:  “We’ve got to point out to everyone that you were very, very close to Caroline. It’s been an amazingly tough day and she’d be so proud of you.”

The emotional actor replied: “I just want to send my love to her family and friends.”

Yesterday, he fought back tears as he spoke out on her death on his Instagram Story.
