Roxanne Pallett shows off her wedding ring as she’s seen with new husband for first time since whirlwind romance
ROXANNE Pallett shows off her wedding ring as she's seen with new husband for the first time since her whirlwind romance.
The Emmerdale star, 37, married her New York-born firefighter husband Jason Carrion in a secret ceremony in front of close friends in January
The couple were all smiles as they walked through Manhattan, before stopping off outside a restaurant.
Roxanne showed off her impressive wedding ring, which is believed to be a Marquise 3 - 4 carat diamond with a matching wedding band.
Meanwhile, Jason boasted his own black titanium wedding band.
Both laughed as they chatted during their first public appearance since their marriage, and at one point the newly weds are so consumed by their love that they rub their heads together.
The pair wed at Lutheran Evangelical Church in NY and exchanged handwritten vows, before Roxanne’s mum read out a poem written by Jason’s late mother.
They married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family.
It’s a huge turnaround the troubled star, who was the most complained about woman on TV in 2018 after falsely accusing Ryan Thomas of attacking her with malicious intent on Celebrity Big Brother.
Roxanne was pushed to the brink and even considered taking her own life after she was forced to admit she had misread the situation with Ryan.
After leaving her fiancé Lee Walton, Roxanne stepped out of the public eye before finding love again with Jason last summer.
She said of their union: “I’m living proof that you can find a happily ever after beyond tough times.
“I couldn’t have asked for a more memorable and incredible wedding day.
“Watching her walk down the aisle as I took her hand in marriage was one of the most significant moments in my life.
“I have finally found my person, the one who I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
Former Emmerdale actress Roxanne feared her career after claiming Corrie star Ryan had punched her during Celebrity Big Brother.
She later admitted to over-exaggerating the claim she made against him, with Ofcom receiving 27,000 complaints about her.
Roxanne went into hiding but broke her silence five months later in an exclusive interview with The Sun.
She said at the time: “I’ve lost everything, and I lost myself.
