Real Housewives Tanya Bardsley feels ‘amazing’ after losing half a stone in a month by quitting booze

REAL Housewives star Tanya Bardsley has lost half a stone in just one month after quitting booze.

The 38-year-old, who is married to footballer Phil, has overhauled her lifestyle since the start of the year and has never felt better.

Speaking at a bash for the jewellery brand Clogau, she said: “I’m really enjoying not having a hangover the next day, I’ve lost weight and feel amazing.”

As well as ditching the drink, the  mum-of-two has enlisted the help of personal trainer , who has been putting her through her paces.

A source said: “Tanya is well known for liking a glass of wine or champagne – it’s part of her glam lifestyle.

“But she decided to make the change as she approaches 40 and is loving the result as well as how she feels.

“Her trainer pushes her hard but it’s clear how much good it’s doing her – she’s even talking about giving up booze for good now.”

Tanya is one of the original cast mates of Real Housewives of Cheshire and is famed for being straight talking.

Despite always putting on a strong face, she previously revealed she was taking medication to combat anxiety.

Tanya’s battle with anxiety has risen in tandem with her time on the Real Housewives and she admitted the filming the explosive reunion episode each series can be the “worst day” on set.

Despite this, her methods of controlling her battle have worked and she absolutely loves being a Housewife of Cheshire.
