ITV revamps The Real Full Monty to feature celebs ice skating while stripping in front of a live audience

CELEB participants of The Real Full Monty have an ever tougher challenge this year – dancing on skates.

Producers of the ITV programme now expect their stars to deliver the racy routine on ICE.

Since the show’s launch in 2017, famous faces have faced their fears and stripped off on stage and camera in a bid to raise awareness for cancer charities.

But the new routine means candidates will need to be braver than ever.

A TV insider said: “The producers have clearly taken some inspiration from Dancing On Ice and added an extra challenge for the celebs.

“It seems we’ve got a bit immune to the sight of stars exposing their bits to an audience — and the elements.

"Now when they start their performance, they’ll have an extra reason not to want to fall flat on their face, or any other part of their body for that matter.”

Coleen Nolan will head up a women’s troupe, while Diversity hunk Ashley Banjo will lead the men.

Last year’s men’s show included Love Island winner Jack Fincham and funnyman Joe Pasquale.

And the women included Love Island star Megan Barton Hanson and Benidorm’s Crissy Rock.

I bet they’re glad they didn’t sign up this year.

Pasha a pooped pusha

FORMER Strictly professional dancer Pasha Kovalev is feeling the strain after swapping polkas for pushchairs.

The new dad could not help yawning as he pushed his baby daughter during a walk with wife Rachel Riley, the Countdown maths whiz.

The couple, who were partners on the dance series in 2013, married last June and celebrated the arrival of little Maven in December.

I wonder if the ballroom ace moves quite so smoothly when the baby’s crying at 4am.

Magician Mart is gene-us

THE audience at a Britain’s Got Talent audition could have been forgiven for thinking magician Martin Daniels seemed familiar.

That’s because he is the son of one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers – the late Paul Daniels.

Martin, from his father’s first marriage to Jacqueline Skipworth, wowed the ITV show’s judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – in Manchester last week.

Martin said it was more than just tradition that made him want to audition.

He said: “Last year my son had a kidney transplant.

“We were talking after the operation and he was saying how grateful he was that he’d been given a second chance at life.

“That’s what spurred me on to come here today.”

After his routine, the judges paid tribute to the “perfect performance” and told Martin how much they admired his late father, who died from a brain tumour in 2016.

David told Martin: “He did this incredible thing in that he wasn’t just an incredible magician, he was a fantastic entertainer as well.

“Those genes have passed on to you, I feel, in a really big way.”

Martin has already had a taste of TV stardom after appearing on shows including Game For A Laugh in the 80s.

I wonder if Martin really can fill his father’s shoes.

Dapper nappier now

DAPPER LAUGHS is bouncing back with a one-man show called Dying To Be Funny.

The comic, real name Daniel O’Reilly, had his TV series axed after he made a rape joke and has battled depression.

He said: “I’m in the West End, we’re sold out but I spend 90 per cent of my time with my two girls, changing nappies. It’s great.”
