Dancing On Ice’s Brianne Delcourt says ‘voices in her head’ told her she’d marry Kevin Kilbane the SECOND she met him

DANCING On Ice star Brianne Delcourt knew she was going to marry skating partner Kevin Kilbane the first time she laid eyes on him – because “voices” in her head told her so.

Brianne revealed: “At that moment, I thought, ‘This is the man I am going to marry’”.

She told Loose Women: “I was coming through the tunnel at the stadium [Goodison Park] and it was a weird moment.

“In my head I had these little voices saying, ‘I’m going to marry this guy’.  At that moment, I thought, ‘This is the man I am going to marry’”.

Kevin - who joined Brianne on the show to discuss their recent engagement - said their connection was “instant”.

After meeting on Dancing On Ice at the end of 2019, the pair quickly moved in together.

Kevin said: “When you know, you know. It’s early days in a relationship but I feel as though I’ve known Bri my whole life.”

And earlier this week they revealed their plans to wed.

Pro dancer Brianne shared a heartwarming video of the proposal to her Instagram page, writing, “He couldn’t be more perfect”.

She later posted a picture showing off her ring.

She wrote: “He was worth the wait," before adding, “Kev, you’ve made me the happiest girl in the world. You’re my fairytale ending”.

While the couple’s relationship has progressed quickly, they’re remaining tight-lipped about whether they've set a date for the wedding.

But Brianne does admit she’d be open to “skating down the aisle”.

She laughed: “I am thinking about that!”

Former footballer Kevin isn’t the first skating partner Brianne has dated.

She started dating Corrie actor Danny Young after meeting him during the show’s fifth series in 2010.

In 2011, she had a brief romance with Hollyoaks star Sam Attwater.

And in 2013, Brianne revealed she’d had a relationship with EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas – despite the actor dating Shona McGarty at the time.

Speaking to The Sun at the time, she said: "Matt has totally betrayed me. He's been nasty and he's lied, when all I've done for the last two years is try to help and protect him.”
